A movement sculpture commissioned by dance company Kinetic Light for their performance Wired (2022.) Premiering in 2022 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, and The Shed, New York

External Fixator comprises a series of demi-rings that create a crown to a rib cage-like torso and move into a series of geometric cage-like shapes. The piece is made of barbless barbed wire and handwoven wire wrapping.
